nope, not really. It's just a random monster you fight in one area of the world in the last half of Final Fantasy VII. However, the awesomeness lies in the fact that they are really hideous, and while i was playing it and fighting one, my friend made a comment along the lines of: "Now look at that, isn't that just the cutest thing ever, it's like 'My Little Buffalax.'" (instead of my little pony) So we all imaged a buffalax prancing through a field of flowers with a rainbow

And the buffalax was immortalized as being freaking adorable instead of fugly XD
